Selma Black is a clean, low-cut ballerina in soft black grained leather with a gently squared toe and a small heel loop for easy on and off. It sits on a low 2.5 cm wooden-look sole and, like every Calou style, is built on our unique soft, flexible, shock-absorbing sole that cushions each step and supports your feet, knees and back. Handmade in Portugal, Selma Black looks minimal and quietly refined, yet feels good from morning to night. This style runs small, so we recommend going up one size.

Calou shoes are crafted from carefully selected full-grain leather sourced from LWG-certified tanneries. The leather is a by-product of the meat industry — never produced solely for fashion. Over time, it softens and develops a unique patina that becomes entirely your own. The more you wear them, the more beautiful they become.
